Refund policy

SECTION 1 - RETURNS

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Gift cards
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If your purchase was fulfilled by a third party (e.g. BR Distribution), returns must be processed through Cotswold Drum Company in accordance with their return policies. We will liaise with the fulfilment partner on your behalf, but final return decisions are at their discretion.

SECTION 2 - REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within a certain number of days.

Late or missing refunds:

  • Check your bank account again.
  • Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at cotswolddrumcompany@gmail.com.

Sale items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded; unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

SECTION 3 - EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at cotswolddrumcompany@gmail.com and send your item to:

For products fulfilled by third parties, we will coordinate with them on your behalf, but exchange eligibility is subject to their policies.

SECTION 4 - GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift at purchase, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be notified of your return.

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING RETURNS

If your order was fulfilled by a third-party distributor, return instructions may differ. Please contact us before sending back any items.

You will be responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.

Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning an item over £50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

SECTION 6 - THIRD-PARTY FULFILMENT DISCLAIMER

Some products are fulfilled by third-party distributors, such as BR Distribution. While we facilitate communication between customers and fulfilment partners, all shipping, return, and refund decisions ultimately lie with the fulfilment partner.

For third-party fulfilled orders, Cotswold Drum Company will assist in initiating return requests, but we cannot be held responsible for delays, rejections, or issues with refunds handled by fulfilment partners.
